I can tell you from experience that those kiddos are about to have their dreams come true when they perform with Carolina Crown. The MFA Marching Band Percussion section is performing with Crown front and center.

My mind truly boggles at the idea of what must be involved in the conception and production of these shows. My hat is off to all the creative geniuses behind the shows every year.

But this crowd is on their feet and loved that super energetic whirlwind of an ending.
This is going to be quite the divisive show I can tell. You're either going to love or hate this and I doubt there will be many in the middle.
As I said below, I don't understand why the sculpture is there.. It just seems to be rather busy being rolled around a lot. <shrug>

The clarity of the brass has been phenomenal but that's what we've come to expect from them.

To say that this was the craziest pre-show ever is an understatement! Definitely something that has to be experienced live.

The use of progressive rock as source material has me engaged the whole time!

I just noticed the ramps are also used as hands on a clock. Very neat. The crowd rises at the top of that mega ballad!
The tempo modulation section is so neat! Very difficult to pull off.

The brass is truly doing some tough work out there. Spread from 10 to 10 and staying together with great sound still... Incredible!
