The Green Machine Announce Visual Design Staff for the 2023 Season
The Cavaliers make additional staff announcements today, including a new force behind their visual design.

The Cavaliers annouced more staff announcements today, this time on the visual side. The most notable changes are Jeremy Hunt coming in as the Visual Designer and John Leonard as the Color Guard Caption Supervisor.
Jeremy Hunt has been a drill designer for three separate finalist corps since 2007, working with Colts, Spirit of Atlanta, and most recently Phantom Regiment in 2015 and again for 2020 and 2021. He has also worked with Carolina Crown, Glassmen, and the Madison Scouts, where he was caption head. Outside of drum corps, Hunt has written for various Grand National Finalists, UIL State Finalists, and Indoor Percussion groups, primarily within Texas.
John Leonard is currently on the Production Administration team for the New York Metropolitan Opera, coming from his position as the color guard director at Marcus High School in Flower Mound, TX. He is also a former member of The Cavaliers color guard. The last corps Leonard was on staff for was Phantom Regiment as the Color Guard Caption Head in the mid-2010s, but he also has been on the color guard staff for the Santa Clara Vanguard and Crossmen. Outside of drum corps, Leonard has held positions at First Flight Winter Guard, Field of View Winter Guard, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, North Carolina State University, and Arizona State University. He has served on the executive board for North Texas Colorguard Association for five years and for two years on WGI Color Guard Steering Committee as the A/Open Representative.
These additions to the design and educational team on the visual side should excite fans just as much as their recent music team announcements. The only major positions left unannounced are the Brass and Visual Caption Heads, and it is safe to assume that the names coming into those roles will be just as prolific as everyone they have announced so far.
