The Gemmys are back!
Join Daniel Montoya Jr. and the entire General Effect Media crew for the 2nd Annual Gemmy Awards, celebrating our favorite performances, designs, moments, and shows from an unforgettable 2026 Drum Corps International season.
From brass, percussion, and color guard to visual design, sound design, music books, and overall General Effect, we're handing out our completely hypothetical golden GEM trophies to the performers and productions that made us cheer, think, laugh, and hit rewind all summer long.
Plus, we'll recognize our Most Underrated _____, relive our Favorite Musical Moments hand out a few Honorable Mentions, and ultimately crown our Favorite Show of the 2026 season.
There will be awards. There will be questionable opinions. There will be dad jokes. And somewhere along the way, someone will probably make one small change.
