This week on On the Field, the GErMs break down a massive weekend of marching band competition as UIL Area determines who moves on to State. Meanwhile, several major Grand Nationals-bound programs find themselves on the wrong side of the UIL State cutoff.
We'll also head around the country as Dobyns-Bennett edges Bartlett by just 0.075 at BOA Middle Tennessee, Tarpon Springs dominates Central Florida, Kentucky crowns its State Champions, and Indiana and Michigan prepare for their State Finals.
Plus, we'll update Team Texas: Hold 'Em, take the temperature with Hattie's Heat Index, unveil the latest National Rankings, talk sports in Stick to Band, and put the GErMs back through the Chair Test.
Some seasons are still building toward November. For others, the journey has ended. Either way, there's a lot of BAND to talk about.
