Mandarins Announce Vince Oliver as Their New Brass Arranger
With the style and narrative of productions you'd find on the stage, Mandarins bring in an arranger with more experience on it than most.

The Mandarins announced that Vince Oliver will join the design team as their Brass Arranger. He originally comes from a background in percussion, working as the percussion director for James Logan HS in California from 2003-2013, during which the marching ensemble, concert bands, and indoor percussion ensembles all saw a lot of success.
Oliver also has significant experience in composition, with multiple pieces premiered at the Midwest Clinic and performed in some of the most prestigious venues around the world. From 2014-2018, Oliver was the sound designer and music coordinator for the Bluecoats, a stretch of highly innovative programs that led the corps to their first DCI World Championship in 2016. He also was the musical director and co-arranger for Blast! The Music of Disney, which toured in Japan in 2017 and 2019. Vince Oliver currently and has previously worked with many elite ensembles as their musical arranger and/or production assistants, including but not limited to Avon HS, Blue Springs HS, Vista Ridge HS, Paramount Winter Guard, and The Yokohama Inspires Drum and Bugle Corps.
Fans should be looking forward to what Oliver brings to the table with his history of innovation and music set for the stage instead of a football field. This goes hand in hand with the story-driven and theatrical direction that the Mandarins have been going with their design in recent years.
