The 2026 marching band season is officially underway, and we finally have scores to talk about!
This week on On the Field, the GErMs break down the opening weekend of competition, including the early action at BOA Las Cruces, a rock fight between Pebble Hills and Eastwood, and the latest storylines coming out of Indiana. We’ll also head to Texas for Thunder in the Hills and take a look at the drumlines making some early-season noise.
Plus, why aren’t more El Paso-area bands making the short trip to BOA Las Cruces? We tackle that question in Hard Paso, before turning our attention to the latest DCI offseason moves.
And with actual results finally on the board, it’s time to start figuring out where everyone stands.
